For over 40 years the Ramona Humane Society has been providing services to the San jacinto Valley & surrounding areas. The City of San Jacinto and the City of Hemet have joined partnerships with the Ramona Humane Society for animal control services.
RHS has implemented a new model for the delivery of animal control services for these cities.

The Ramona Humane Society Animal Control provides the following services to City of Hemet & City of San Jacinto residents:
Rescue of sick or injured animals	Capture of stray animals
Reunifying lost pets with their owners	Investigation of complaints of animal cruelty
Removal of dead animals from public areas	Pet licenses in accordance with state and County law
Supportive services to emergencies & other disasters	Impoundment and quarantine of dangerous or vicious dogs
Enforcement of City & County animal ordinances	Pet Licensing (click here for more info)
Education of reponsible animal ownership	Assistance with low cost spay & neutering

Residents who reside within the County of Riverside (5 digits or more in your street address),
will need to contact the County for animal control services.
