Adoption Information

Available pets

All pets that are available for adoption are visible on our website.

Process

View available pets on this website. Once you have chosen a pet, make note of the animal ID# and setup an appointment for visiting and adoption. If you have questions, you may ask the adoption counselors. Many of the pets may have come in as strays, but we will try to give you whatever information we may have about them. You can bring your dog for a meet and greet in our get-acquainted area.

Microchip

A microchip is included in your adoption fee. As a new pet owner, it is your responsibility to keep the information up to date with the microchip company.  Microchips are mandated by law in San Jacinto and the unincorporated areas of Riverside County.

Spay & Neuter

As per the law, it is necessary for all dogs and cats to be spayed or neutered before leaving us, so they do not contribute to the overpopulation. We will arrange this for the next business day. If your adopted pet falls sick, surgery may be delayed until the animal is better. Please note that the animal will remain at the shelter until fit for surgery at no additional cost to the adopter.

Pet Adoption Prices
